Interim ITGC Internal Auditor

About the role

Grant Thornton’s Business Risk Services team is seeking an experienced Interim IT General Controls (ITGC) Internal Auditor to join short‑ to medium‑term projects. You will work with a variety of clients across sectors, helping them navigate regulatory change, technology risk and governance challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ITGC audits, focusing on user access management, change control and related controls.
• Assess cyber security, disaster recovery, resilience and third‑party risk frameworks.
• Evaluate IT strategy, infrastructure and asset management practices.
• Review cloud, networking and large‑scale transformation environments.
• Provide assurance over ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA and Oracle Fusion.
• Identify data protection and information security gaps and recommend remediation.
• Collaborate with client teams and internal specialists to deliver clear audit findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT audit across multiple domains.
• Strong understanding of contemporary IT environments, including cloud and DevOps/DevSecOps approaches.
• Ability to work independently on contract assignments and manage stakeholder expectations.
