Interior Designer – Retail & Commercial Projects

About the role

We are seeking an Interior Designer to join a design‑led consultancy in Manchester. You will work on a secure pipeline of retail fit‑out and rollout projects, developing design solutions from concept through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Develop creative interior design solutions for retail, hospitality and commercial spaces.
• Attend client and site meetings to capture requirements and provide updates.
• Coordinate with external consultants and internal teams throughout all project stages.
• Support project delivery from initial design through construction and handover.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of interior design experience (outstanding candidates with ~1 year may be considered).
• Experience in retail, hospitality or commercial interiors is advantageous.
• Strong technical design capability and ability to work collaboratively.
• Motivation to develop professionally within a growing team.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (essential).
• Photoshop (beneficial).
• SketchUp (beneficial).
