Internal Audit and Risk Advisory Partner

About the role

This senior partnership position will lead the launch of a new Internal Audit and Risk Advisory practice in Birmingham. Backed by a major international accountancy firm, you will have full autonomy, investment and board support to build a flagship offering.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and lead a new Internal Audit and Risk Advisory practice across the Midlands.
• Recruit and develop a high‑performing team covering audit, enterprise risk, governance, controls, technology risk and transformation.
• Develop long‑term relationships with FTSE‑listed companies, large private groups, public sector bodies and not‑for‑profit organisations.
• Create a market‑leading service proposition covering governance, assurance, risk transformation and internal controls.
• Generate £5‑10 million of annual revenue and represent the firm at board level and industry events.

Required profile

• Established reputation in Risk Advisory or Internal Audit, currently at Partner or Senior Director level.
• Proven track record of winning work and managing significant client relationships.
• Experience with corporate, public sector and not‑for‑profit clients is highly desirable.

• Base salary £220,000‑£300,000 per year.
• Equity package with potential total compensation up to £400,000.
