Investment Operations – Client Services & Transfer Agent (Manchester)

About the role

This contract position supports investment operations through client services and transfer agent activities. The role is hybrid, requiring four days onsite per week in Manchester, and runs for an initial six‑month period.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to complex client inquiries via phone, email and other channels, providing technical assistance.
• Research and resolve operational or client issues, escalating when necessary.
• Identify trends in client issues and propose solutions.
• Provide status updates on problem resolution to internal teams.
• Direct inquiries to appropriate internal resources.
• Contribute ideas for process improvement and coordinate implementation of changes.
• Manage transaction processing activities, including asset transfer capture and repair.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate, timely execution of transactions.
• Address client inquiries related to transaction processing and support service delivery.
• Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• High school or equivalent education; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in financial services operations, wealth operations or client service is preferred.
• Experience as a Transfer Agent or in similar transaction processing roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.

• Premium hourly rate of £25.11 (inclusive of holiday) and PAYE rate of £21.83.
• Hybrid working arrangement with four days onsite in Manchester.
• Six‑month initial contract with potential for extension.
