Invoice Finance Business Auditor

About the role

Hilton‑Baird Audit & Survey, a subsidiary of FRP Advisory, is seeking an Invoice Finance Business Auditor to carry out new business surveys and ongoing audits for clients in the invoice finance and asset‑based lending market. The role is fully remote and involves producing accurate, insightful reports that help lenders assess risk and make secure lending decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough new‑business surveys, follow‑up audit visits and other business reviews on behalf of clients.
• Prepare timely and accurate audit reports with reasoned findings, recommendations and risk assessments.
• Identify and highlight adverse trends, industry risks, potential fraud and security issues.
• Liaise with external and internal clients, escalating issues to the Audit Manager as required.
• Meet individual productivity targets while contributing to overall team performance.
• Support colleagues on larger, complex audits and share best practices.
• Suggest process improvements and monitor emerging trends in the sector.
