Java Software Engineer

About the role

Join Accenture's Software & Platform Engineering team to design, build, and operate modern Java applications. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment creating both traditional and serverless services that scale to millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Java‑based applications and services using source control, integrating with data storage, messaging, and other architectural components.
• Deploy solutions with container technologies to AWS or Azure, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and ensuring observability in production.
• Create and maintain documentation, unit, integration, and contract tests while addressing security, performance, and caching requirements.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience developing Java applications.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native technologies on AWS and/or Azure.
• Proficiency in build automation and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong focus on accessibility, security, performance, and caching.
• Creative, analytical problem‑solving and solid debugging skills.
