Jewellery Procurement Specialist

About the role

Our client, a British multinational jeweller, is looking for a Jewellery Procurement Specialist to join their headquarters in Central London. The role supports the buying, quoting, inventory and auction functions, ensuring smooth operations across design, manufacture and retail.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the buying function, prepare and control physical stones, organise returns of QC fails and process purchase paperwork.
• Track and audit GIA certificates and create buy sheets and offer forms.
• Search stock for client enquiries, work with buyers on hard‑to‑find items and liaise with the design team on special orders.
• Maintain daily stock records and physical control of diamonds and gemstones in SAP.
• Coordinate shipments with logistics teams and suppliers.
• Update auction calendars, conduct pre‑sale research and handle post‑sale purchase administration.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the jewellery industry with a strong knowledge of diamonds and gemstones.
• Commercially driven, self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• SAP for inventory and logistics management.
• GIA Diamond Certification.
• Expertise in diamond and gemstone identification and market trends.
