Operations Executive

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Executive to join a reputable tour operator’s Operations team in London. The role supports the sales and product teams by managing bookings across flights, accommodation, rail, car hire and more, using the Galileo GDS system.

Key responsibilities

• Book and ticket on‑request or out‑of‑date range items including flights, hotels, cruises, rail, car hire, motorhomes, ferries and excursions.
• Process international and domestic air travel bookings, schedule changes, cancellations, re‑issues and refunds while minimizing costs and penalties.
• Maintain service level agreements for email response times and handle general enquiries from internal teams and external customers.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a consistent, streamlined service and stay updated on supplier policy changes and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in travel operations or customer support, preferably with knowledge of Canada and North America destinations.
• Proficient use of the Galileo GDS for ticketing, re‑issuing IT fares and handling B2B/Tour‑Ops transactions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support customers in emergency or crisis situations.
