Job Coach – SEND (Bolton)

About the role

Reed Further Education is looking for a passionate Job Coach to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Bolton. You will help them develop the skills, confidence and independence required for successful employment and future progression.

Key responsibilities

• Support learners on work placements and work‑related activities.
• Deliver workplace coaching to build employability and independence.
• Monitor progress and liaise with employers to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide pastoral support and promote learner wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and compliance requirements.
• Develop positive relationships with employers to create meaningful opportunities for learners.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people or adults with SEND.
• Background in Further Education, supported employment or specialist provision.
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship‑building skills.
• Maths and English Level 2 qualification.
