Junior Backend Engineer

About the role

InfoSum is looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to help design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend systems that power its data collaboration platform. You will work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and debug production issues across Go micro‑services and Python data pipelines using logs, tracing, and AI‑powered tools.
• Develop new features and platform enhancements primarily in Go, writing unit and integration tests.
• Participate in peer‑reviews, pair‑programming sessions, and share knowledge through demos and documentation.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of Go or Python and willingness to learn the other language plus TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of Git, REST APIs, and basic cloud/Linux fundamentals.
• Curiosity, confidence to ask questions, and ability to thrive in a fast‑moving team.
