Junior Data Technician / BDX Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Data Technician / BDX Specialist to join our operations team in London. The role focuses on processing, validating and reporting underwriting and claims data, with a strong emphasis on bordereaux management and data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Process and validate bordereaux data received from brokers and partners.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain up‑to‑date data in internal systems.
• Support reporting, management information (MI) production and month‑end activities.
• Assist with data cleansing initiatives and continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• 12–18 months of experience in data handling, insurance operations or bordereaux processing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Organised, analytical and proactive approach to work.
• Experience in an MGA, Lloyd’s or delegated authority environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
