Junior Research Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Research Assistant to join our remote team. In this entry‑level position you will support ongoing research projects, assist with data collection and help ensure that all work follows established research protocols. Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and summarise key findings.
• Assist in designing and implementing research studies and experiments.
• Collect, clean and organise qualitative and quantitative data.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and documentation.
• Support data analysis and interpretation under supervision.
• Prepare reports, presentations and research summaries.
• Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and research standards.
• Coordinate with team members and help with project logistics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Business or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of research methodologies and data‑collection techniques.
• Strong analytical, organisational and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with statistical tools such as SPSS, R or Python.
