Junior Research Assistant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Research Assistant to support our research projects and data‑collection activities. This remote, entry‑level position offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience in literature reviews, data gathering, analysis and documentation while working under the supervision of senior researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews and summarise key findings.
• Assist in designing and implementing research studies and experiments.
• Collect, clean and organise qualitative and quantitative data.
• Maintain accurate records, databases and documentation.
• Support data analysis and interpretation under supervision.
• Prepare reports, presentations and research summaries.
• Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and research standards.
• Coordinate with team members and assist with project logistics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Life Sciences, Business or related discipline.
• Basic understanding of research methodologies and data‑collection techniques.
• Strong analytical, organisational and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with statistical tools such as SPSS, R or Python (preferred).
