Junior Solutions Architect

About the role

You will support the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade solutions across cloud, hybrid and on‑prem environments for a leading consultancy in Financial Services. Working alongside experienced architects, you will help shape modern architectures and connect legacy systems with emerging technologies, including AI.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to solution and technical architecture artefacts such as high‑level designs, solution options and impact assessments.
• Support delivery from design through to implementation.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver real value.
• Assist in designing solutions across APIs, micro‑services and cloud platforms.
• Produce clear architecture documentation and artefacts.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT delivery, engineering or architecture‑aligned roles.
• Exposure to solution/design work, even without the formal title.
• Understanding of architecture fundamentals and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Relevant degree (2:1 preferred); financial services or regulated industry experience desirable.
• Eligible for UK SC clearance.
