Junior UX/UI Designer

About the role

Bending Spoons is looking for a motivated Junior UX/UI Designer to shape high‑leverage product experiences. You will work across the full design lifecycle, from early concepts to polished delivery, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design intuitive, effective, and delightful UI/UX for existing and new products.
• Leverage LLM‑based AI tools to clarify intent, draft specs, and surface risks before opening design tools.
• Prototype and build interactive concepts using AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Code, and translate them into production‑ready frontend code.
• Co‑create with PMs and engineers from day one, defining UX requirements, staying involved through QA and release, and making engineering‑aware design decisions.
• Validate designs by talking directly with customers, running quick tests, and measuring funnels, retention, and adoption.
• Identify high‑leverage backlog items, align stakeholders, and deliver rapid product improvements.

Required profile

• Strong reasoning ability: can solve complex problems from first principles and avoid bias.
• High drive and ambition with a sense of ownership and responsibility for outcomes.
• Detail‑oriented mindset, focusing on the elements that truly matter.

Required skills

• Figma for UI design.
• AI prototyping tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code).
• Frontend development skills to generate production‑ready code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
