About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a reputable, high‑achieving primary school in Brentwood from September 2026. The position is a one‑year fixed‑term full‑time role with the potential to become permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
- Set high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour and personal development.
- Adapt teaching to support and challenge learners of different abilities.
- Monitor progress and use assessment data to inform planning.
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Contribute actively to the wider life of the school.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Positive, engaging approach to teaching.
- Commitment to inclusion and high standards.
