About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a reputable, high‑achieving primary school in Brentwood from September 2026. The position is a one‑year fixed‑term full‑time role with the potential to become permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Set high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour and personal development.
• Adapt teaching to support and challenge learners of different abilities.
• Monitor progress and use assessment data to inform planning.
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Contribute actively to the wider life of the school.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Positive, engaging approach to teaching.
• Commitment to inclusion and high standards.
