Kitchen Staff – Flexible Shifts

About the role

Join the busy kitchen team at The Swan & Angel where you’ll help prepare and cook food while keeping the kitchen running smoothly. No prior experience is required – we provide full training and a supportive environment for anyone with a positive attitude.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to specification.
• Operate kitchen workstations such as grills, fryers and microwaves.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and food hygiene.
• Rotate stock, store food safely and assist with kitchen clean‑downs.
• Work as part of a team to meet time and quality targets.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and friendly.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and follow training.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

Required skills

• Operating grills.
• Operating fryers.
• Operating microwaves.
• Food hygiene compliance.
• Allergen handling.
