Knowledge Lawyer – Pensions and Trusts (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

This newly created position sits within a fast‑growing digital legal knowledge service. You will help build and shape the Pension and Trusts Knowledge Service, creating high‑quality content and collaborating with barristers, in‑house knowledge lawyers and editors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the service over time with new topics, precedents, legislation, practical resources and news commentary.
• Scope, write, review and edit top‑quality content, consistently applying the house style.
• Maintain and deepen your own expertise, staying up‑to‑date with legal and market developments.
• Coordinate closely with barristers, knowledge lawyers, editors and external experts.
• Support customer engagement by responding to subscriber queries and assessing market needs.
• Liaise with the Development Team on technical solutions and site enhancements.

Required profile

• Strong technical legal knowledge of pensions and trusts law, with significant experience (Bar, law firm or knowledge‑lawyer background).
• Exceptional writing ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently to deadlines while thriving in collaborative team settings.
• Flexibility to operate in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment and react quickly to developments.
• Desire to learn new subject areas and quickly grasp new concepts.
