KS2 Teacher – Primary School (Full‑Time)

About the role

St Columba's Catholic Primary School is seeking a passionate KS2 Teacher to join our vibrant community from September 2026. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to inspire learners, support their wellbeing and contribute to a strong Catholic ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver an adapted KS2 curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils.
• Develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and individual learning strategies.
• Engage and motivate learners, particularly those with communication difficulties.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, wellbeing and academic achievement.
• Collaborate closely with parents, carers and external professionals.
• Uphold the school’s Catholic character and values in daily practice.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a commitment to raising standards for every child.
• Enthusiastic, supportive and able to foster a positive learning environment.
• Willingness to work within the Professional Standards for Teachers and school career‑stage expectations.

Required skills

• Curriculum planning and differentiation.
• Knowledge of EHCP development and implementation.
• Effective communication with families and multidisciplinary teams.
