Lead Citrix Administrator – London

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Lead Citrix Administrator to own and drive the design, implementation and support of Citrix virtual environments and Windows Server infrastructure for its London operations. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on technical delivery, ensuring high availability, performance and security of desktop and application virtualization services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) including StoreFront, Delivery Controllers, Studio, Director and Licensing.
• Configure Citrix policies, manage user profiles (FSLogix, roaming profiles) and optimise VDI and published application environments.
• Perform Citrix upgrades, patches, version migrations and proactive monitoring.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 and associated core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Print Services, IIS).
• Manage server hardening, performance tuning, capacity planning, Failover Clustering, DFS and high‑availability designs.
• Implement patch management via WSUS, SCCM or Intune and oversee PKI, certificate services and renewal automation.
• Provide enterprise‑level VMware support, OS patching, vulnerability remediation and disaster‑recovery planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior Citrix and Windows Server administrator, preferably in a consultancy or large‑enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance and identity management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior staff.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
