Lead Engineer - Field Quality

About the role

Lead Engineer – Field Quality will join Lotus UK Manufacturing’s agile Field Quality team at the Hethel plant, driving fast containment and resolution of field concerns to deliver class‑leading products to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve top warranty items and drive continuous improvement through practical problem solving.
• Coordinate critical issues within the field‑action process, leading mitigation plans and campaign launches.
• Collaborate across the business to close concerns, maintain and optimise field‑action procedures, and prepare clear documentation for senior leadership.
• Support new product and warranty system strategies for future models.
• Maintain KPI deliverables, drive total cost of quality, and communicate warranty status using PowerBI visualisations.

Required profile

• Relevant degree qualification.
• Experience in lean operations and manufacturing environments (favourable).
• Strong problem‑solving ability and ability to work under pressure.
• Self‑starter with assertive communication and credibility with senior management.
• Experience with warranty or ERP systems (favourable).
