About the role

We are partnering with a growing organisation that needs a Lead Frontend Developer to own a large‑scale digital platform and guide a small frontend engineering team. This hands‑on leadership position involves shaping the frontend architecture, mentoring developers, and delivering high‑quality user experiences across modern web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a high‑traffic digital platform.
• Lead and mentor a small frontend engineering team.
• Define and evolve frontend architecture using modern best practices.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, UX, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with React, Next.js, and modern frontend architecture.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring developers.
• Background building and scaling complex web applications.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
