Lead Pharmacist – Clinical Support

About the role

Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Lead Pharmacist – Clinical Support to join its pharmacy team in a brand‑new high‑acuity environment. This full‑time, permanent position works 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, with occasional evening and weekend duties.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Hospital’s Medication Safety Officer, leading the medication safety agenda across inpatient and community settings.
• Review and evaluate clinical risk, critical incidents, and trends related to medicines use.
• Contribute to the hospital’s clinical governance strategy to ensure safe use of medicines.
• Deliver education, training and development for pharmacy, medical and allied health professionals.
• Collaborate with the clinical pharmacy team to provide consistent, high‑quality pharmacy services in line with GPhC standards.

Required profile

• Masters in Pharmacy and a postgraduate qualification.
• Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in NHS and private settings.
• Proven track record of supporting and training pharmacy staff.
• Experience of governance roles and activities.
