Lead Product Designer – AI Consulting (London)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape the design vision of AI‑powered software solutions for major pharmaceutical companies and academic research centres. Based in London, you will translate ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable strategies for a proprietary Decision Intelligence platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute end‑to‑end design vision for Life Sciences AI products, ensuring technical feasibility and client alignment.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with engineers and product managers to establish repeatable design methodologies.
• Mentor junior designers and champion evidence‑based design practices across the Applied AI group.
• Map user workflows and create high‑fidelity prototypes for complex AI/ML‑driven ecosystems.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience designing scalable software products, preferably within AI/ML‑driven environments.
• Background in Tier 1 or Tier 2 professional services or consulting, familiar with agency delivery models.
• Portfolio demonstrating ability to bring clarity to high‑ambiguity, regulated industry challenges.
