Lead Software Engineer

About the role

Ravio is building an agentic compensation platform and needs a Lead Software Engineer to drive the technical vision during a major platform shift. You will own architecture across the customer‑facing web app, the new agentic platform and the shared infrastructure, while mentoring the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the end‑to‑end architecture for the web application, agentic platform and supporting infrastructure.
• Lead technical decision‑making, code and design reviews, and raise standards for reliability and performance.
• Implement durable workflows using Temporal and integrate LLM‑based evaluation harnesses.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to ship features at scale under tight product timelines.

Required profile

• 8+ years of commercial software engineering experience with proven technical leadership during platform migrations.
• Deep system‑design expertise focusing on durability, multi‑service orchestration, performance at scale and observability.
• Senior‑level fluency in TypeScript and Node.js, comfortable with PostgreSQL, GraphQL and GCP‑based infrastructure.
• Experience working in a distributed monorepo and delivering fast, high‑quality releases.
