About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work within primary schools in Manchester. The role involves supporting pupils during classroom activities and helping them develop confidence and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils.
- Assist children with learning activities and classroom tasks.
- Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs where appropriate.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and wider school staff.
Required profile
- Experience working with children in UK primary schools, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching, childcare or similar settings.
- Passionate about supporting child development and learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, reliable, adaptable and able to build positive relationships.
