Learning Support Assistant – Year 3 (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a Year 3 class in a well‑rated primary school in West London. The role is full‑time, temporary and runs from September 2026 until July 2027, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to Year 3 pupils.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, delivery and classroom management.
• Support pupils with special educational needs, ensuring inclusive learning.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and interventions.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year LSA experience in a UK primary school.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) with online update service.
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
