Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join its QA team. Working hybrid from London, you will ensure the timely delivery of dance examinations and teaching qualifications worldwide, supporting teachers, examiners and Approved Dance Centres.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor systems and processes with the Head of Department to maintain quality standards.
• Manage operational delivery of QA functions, including accurate data and record keeping.
• Lead, develop and motivate the QA team to provide high‑quality results for members.
• Oversee timely certification of qualifications and delivery of assessment activities such as standardisation, moderation and board meetings.
• Coordinate QA engagement with external subject experts, examiners, assessors and quality assurers.
• Handle post‑results services including enquiries, appeals, special consideration and reasonable adjustments.

• Strong problem‑solving ability and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
• Experience managing teams and stakeholder relationships.
