Lecturer in Psychosexual Therapy (MSc)

About the role

DN Colleges Group is seeking a part‑time Lecturer to deliver the MSc Psychosexual Therapy programme at University Campus Doncaster. The role involves high‑quality teaching, academic support for students and contribution to programme development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures and seminars in line with HE quality assurance standards.
• Provide personal academic support and act as an Academic Advocate for allocated students.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, programme development and annual reporting.
• Participate in university committees, assessment boards and liaise with external examiners.
• Support student recruitment, induction and engagement activities, including promotional events.
• Maintain scholarly activity and continue professional development to keep subject expertise current.

Required profile

• A degree in Counselling and a postgraduate qualification in Psychosexual Therapy.
• Extensive professional experience working therapeutically with individuals and couples.
• Strong knowledge of current higher‑education academic standards and quality requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to teach evenings and weekends.
• Accreditation with COSRAT (or willingness to work towards it) is highly desirable.
