Legal Counsel – Debt Capital Markets (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Legal Counsel to join Credit Agricole CIB’s Debt Capital Markets (DCM) legal team in London. The role focuses on EMEA‑wide DCM transactions, offering the chance to work independently on deals while collaborating with a cross‑border London‑Paris team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support on debt capital markets transactions across the EMEA region.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with internal bankers, external counsel and other stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate legal solutions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise the business on potential impacts.
• Contribute to the development of best‑practice procedures within the DCM legal team.

Required profile

• Qualified to practice law in England.
• Post‑qualification experience gained at a major law firm and/or in‑house within a reputable investment bank.
• Mid‑level professional with the ability to work autonomously.
