Litigation Solicitor (Property and Private Client)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a well‑regarded, modern solicitor’s firm. The role offers excellent promotion prospects and exposure to a diverse range of legal areas, including property, probate, dispute resolution and employment law.

Key responsibilities

• Handle property disputes such as ownership, boundary, right‑of‑way, service‑charge and right‑to‑manage claims.
• Manage landlord‑and‑tenant matters for residential and commercial properties, including possession, eviction and lease‑renewal proceedings.
• Deal with probate disputes, including inheritance and will‑validity claims.
• Oversee miscellaneous litigation such as debt recovery, repayment and building disputes.
• Provide legal advice to clients, draft documents and represent them in court or tribunals.

Required profile

• Qualified litigation solicitor with at least one year post‑qualification experience.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of working autonomously while meeting departmental billing targets.
• Strong communication, administrative and organisational abilities.
