Loan Agency Analyst – Remote or Manchester

About the role

Santander’s Corporate and Commercial Banking (CCB) Lending Services team is seeking a Loan Agency Analyst to support complex lending transactions. Working from a dual‑site arrangement (remote or Manchester City Centre), you will join a dynamic group that manages the full agency lifecycle for large facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with new deal closings, amendment and waiver management, and document execution.
• Manage in‑life facility administration and act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to internal teams such as Relationship Management, Finance, and Control.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks, and lending product procedures.
• Continuously learn complex lending products, processes, and platform functionalities on the job.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service and contribute to innovation for improved client and colleague experiences.

Required profile

• Experience or strong interest in the syndicated loan market is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work under pressure, including occasional out‑of‑hours requirements.
• Commitment to risk‑aware decision‑making and adherence to regulatory standards.
