Locum/Fixed-Term GP – Up to 8 Sessions in London

About the role

Clapham Park Group Practice is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join a supportive multidisciplinary team. The role can be undertaken on a locum or fixed‑term salaried basis for up to eight sessions per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality face‑to‑face, telephone and online consultations.
• Participate in the practice’s total triage team on a pro‑rata basis.
• Conduct home visits and manage acute and chronic conditions following national guidelines.
• Issue prescriptions in line with NHS policy and review test results, hospital letters and correspondence promptly.
• Maintain accurate clinical records using EMIS WEB.
• Support training of GP registrars, F2 doctors and allied health professionals through supervision.

Required profile

• Qualified GP registered with the GMC.
• Commitment to delivering patient‑centred care in a primary‑care setting.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Availability to cover up to eight sessions per week on a flexible schedule.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMIS WEB clinical record system.
