Machine Learning Engineer – Personalization

About the role

Join the Personalization team at Constructor to shape the e‑commerce experience for millions of shoppers worldwide. You will design, deliver, and maintain high‑load real‑time personalization services while collaborating with engineers across Ranking and other teams.

Key responsibilities

• Improve personalized experience across products, domain verticals and platforms.
• Validate hypotheses and boost business KPIs through personalization experiments.
• Research and implement state‑of‑the‑art personalization approaches.
• Model user interactions to deliver optimal shopper experiences.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical partners to build and update personalization capabilities.
• Communicate results and progress with stakeholders across the organization.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in applied machine learning.
• Strong English communication and ability to work autonomously in cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset focused on delivering business value.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• SQL and big‑data processing frameworks.
• Design, development and maintenance of personalization/recommender/ranking systems.
• Experience with major public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Design and analysis of A/B tests.
