Join a major player in the dairy industry at our Taw Valley creamery, currently undergoing a massive £180M transformation. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational excellence of a 24/7 production site during this exciting period of growth and modernization.

Missions principales

• Provide critical technical support and rapid response to breakdowns on a 24/7 production site.
• Maintain and troubleshoot complex systems including refrigeration, conveyors, and cheese processing equipment.
• Execute preventive and planned maintenance tasks using the CMMS system to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose technical failures using structured problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and site performance.
• Support various site projects, ranging from small upgrades to large-scale capital improvements.
• Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety standards and participate in regular risk assessments.

Profil recherché

• Proven experience in a fast-paced FMCG, food manufacturing, or highly regulated industrial environment.
• Technical background: Apprenticeship or qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-skilled Engineering (NVQ Level 3, ONC, or equivalent).
• Ability to work a shift pattern of 12-hour shifts (4 days on / 4 days off), including day and night rotations.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.

Competences requises

• Proficiency in CMMS/SAP PM systems for maintenance management.
• Advanced troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Technical expertise in mechanical and/or electrical systems.
