Maintenance Operative

About the role

As a Maintenance Operative you will perform a range of general and ground maintenance duties to a consistently high standard and assist the Facilities Manager with daily maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and quality of the village facilities for owners and residents.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general and ground maintenance duties across the retirement village.
• Support the Facilities Manager with daily maintenance activities and inspections.

Required profile

• Experience in pool plant operations.
• Experience in electrics, joinery and plumbing (advantageous).
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, COSHH and RIDDOR.
• Multi‑trader capability (desirable).
• Problem‑solving ability and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Warm, professional and empathetic attitude.
