Maintenance Technician

About the role

The London Heathrow Marriott Hotel is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join its hospitality team. You will be responsible for ensuring all hotel facilities and equipment operate safely and efficiently, contributing to a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest repair requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and hotel systems.
• Visually inspect tools, machinery, and equipment to confirm proper functioning.
• Operate and transport maintenance tools, radios, and other necessary equipment.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment as required.
• Maintain the maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies, and record unfinished calls before shift changes.
• Follow all safety and security policies, reporting hazards or incidents to management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related maintenance or engineering experience.

Required skills

• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment shut‑off protocols.
