Management Accountant – Finance Team (Cramlington)

About the role

We are seeking two Management Accountants to join our finance team in Cramlington. The role will support our manufacturing business by delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. It is a temporary-to-permanent position, offering the chance to shadow the outgoing accountant and gain exposure to a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts in line with regulations.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with department heads.
• Monitor financial performance against targets and recommend improvements.
• Support month‑end close processes and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain and enhance financial systems and processes.
• Assist with audits and produce required documentation.
• Provide financial analysis for new projects, investments and strategic initiatives.
• Handle VAT and manage the debtors ledger.

Required profile

• AAT qualified or part‑qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective communication skills for presenting financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Proactive team player willing to contribute to overall success.
