Management Accountant

About the role

We are partnering with a high‑growth SME that is transforming its finance function into a commercial partner. As a Management Accountant you will own the management accounts process and provide insight that directly influences strategy and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly management accounts cycle (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Produce clear, commercially‑focused commentary on business performance
• Lead month‑end close activities, including accruals, pre‑payments and reconciliations
• Support budgeting, re‑forecasting and financial planning cycles
• Partner with commercial, marketing and operations teams to analyse profitability, margins and cost drivers
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility
• Drive continuous improvement of controls, processes and reporting

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience owning management accounts and month‑end processes
• Strong commercial curiosity and ability to translate data into insight
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with non‑finance stakeholders

• ACCA or CIMA qualification
