Management Accountant

A well‑established and growing professional services firm is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its expanding outsourcing team. Working with a varied portfolio of UK and international clients, you will be part of a collaborative business that combines technical expertise with a supportive, down‑to‑earth culture. Key responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Managing a portfolio of UK and international clients
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting clients with accounting software queries
• Working with a variety of accounting systems, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics and SAP
• Liaising directly with clients and building long‑term relationships
• Supporting process improvements and efficiencies within client finance functions

Required profile

• Strong double‑entry bookkeeping knowledge
• Previous experience preparing management accounts
• Experience completing VAT returns
• Confident undertaking balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills
• Experience gained within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment would be advantageous
