Managing Engineer – Forward Deployed

About the role

As a Managing Engineer – Forward Deployed you will lead a team of engineers delivering end‑to‑end data solutions for high‑impact public and private sector clients. Based in London, you will act as the primary client liaison, combining deep technical expertise with strong emotional intelligence to drive sustainable transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full delivery lifecycle, from data engineering using Palantir Foundry (low/no‑code) to building user‑facing applications with Python, PySpark, TypeScript and React.
• Work directly with clients to understand goals, translate technical concepts into business language, and ensure alignment throughout the project.
• Integrate AI workflows using AIP Logic Functions, AIP Analysts and AIFDE to enhance decision‑making capabilities.
• Contribute to internal product development, feeding deployment learnings back into the organization.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, guiding self‑assignment of tasks and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in complex, client‑facing environments.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage day‑to‑day client relationships.
