Marine Hull Technician

About the role

We are seeking a permanent Marine Hull Technician to join a specialist Lloyd's broking house in London. The role supports the International Marine Hull & Liability team, providing both client and technical assistance across a range of marine risks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare MRC slips and endorsements for the London market.
• Process premiums and manage interactions with Xchanging.
• Check and verify documentation prepared by the team.
• Prepare cover notes, debit notes, letters of undertaking and account entries for larger clients.
• Renew cover facilities and support brokers on client accounts.
• Liaise daily with brokers, underwriters and clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Marine Account Handler or Technician handling International Marine Hull risks.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine hull and liability products.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with brokers, underwriters and clients.
• Self‑starter attitude with confidence in a hybrid support role.

Required skills

• MRC slip preparation

• Experience with Xchanging platform
• Familiarity with Lloyd's List Intelligence
