About the role
We are seeking a Maths Lecturer to join a prestigious further education college in North London on a full‑time temporary basis. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality GCSE Mathematics teaching and assessment, supporting a diverse learner cohort.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess GCSE Maths lessons, ensuring strong learner progress and achievement.
- Adapt teaching methods for students with EHCPs and complex needs.
- Develop schemes of work, learning materials and assessments.
- Maintain internal quality assurance processes and contribute to curriculum development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the overall educational programme.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching GCSE Mathematics or equivalent.
- Ability to work with learners who have special educational needs.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
- Commitment to start in September and attend interviews as soon as possible.
