About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a forward‑thinking secondary school in Woking. The role can be taken on a permanent, supply or day‑to‑day basis, with an immediate start possible.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 optional).
- Promote problem‑solving, analytical thinking and numeracy skills.
- Support students of all abilities to reach their academic potential.
- Create a positive, focused learning environment.
- Collaborate with the Maths department to share best practice.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in a secondary school.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to raising achievement and delivering high‑quality lessons.
