Mid Market Account Executive

About the role

Five9 is a leading cloud contact‑center software provider seeking a Mid Market Account Executive to drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth. This individual contributor role focuses on identifying, creating, and closing mid‑market deals across a defined territory. The successful candidate will build a robust pipeline, engage C‑level stakeholders, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the implementation phase.

Key responsibilities

• Create and drive revenue within a specified region or list of named accounts.
• Generate business opportunities through professional networking.
• Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation via networking and associations.
• Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Own the sales cycle from generation to closure.
• Develop and present business plans during quarterly review sessions.
• Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within Salesforce (SFDC).
• Self‑generate leads from personal connections, referral partners, and regional networking events.
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention throughout implementation and support.

Required profile

• 3+ years of contact‑center software or CRM sales experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Experience selling to C‑level executives.
• Proven track record of sales excellence.
• Superior professional presence and business acumen.
