Mill Technician – OTE £33k with Premium Overtime

About the role

We are seeking a Mill Technician to join our friendly team at Belle Eau Park Mill in Bilsthorpe. The mill produces animal feed for nationwide distribution and operates on a semi‑automated system, requiring both computer use and hands‑on handling of 20 kg supplement bags.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the semi‑automated feed mill using computer control panels.
• Handle and move 20 kg bags of feed supplements safely.
• Work a 4‑on‑4‑off rotating schedule covering day and night shifts.
• Maintain production records and ensure product quality standards are met.
• Assist with routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Comfortable using computer systems in a production environment.
• Physically able to lift and handle heavy bags.
• Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rotating shift pattern.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a focus on safety and reliability.

• Starting salary £30,166 rising to £31,336 after probation.
