Mobile Software Engineer – Kotlin Multiplatform, London

About the role

Join a mission‑driven climate‑tech startup that replaces single‑use packaging with IoT and AI solutions. As a Mobile Software Engineer you will lead the migration to Kotlin Multiplatform and ship features that have already prevented 1.6 million pieces of waste.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of consumer and client‑facing mobile applications.
• Drive the transition from native Android/iOS apps to a unified Kotlin Multiplatform architecture.
• Build and integrate lightweight web applications with Apple and Google Wallets to streamline container tracking.
• Collaborate with backend teams by contributing to PHP/Laravel services and occasionally supporting Python code on Linux smart‑bin hardware.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of professional mobile experience with production‑level Kotlin and native Android development.
• Practical experience or strong enthusiasm for Kotlin Multiplatform, including handling iOS frameworks and SwiftUI integrations.
• Startup‑ready mindset comfortable exploring REST APIs, PHP, or Python to solve cross‑stack problems.
