Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Joiner – Commercial Contracts

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Joiner to join a busy commercial maintenance team in Manchester. The role involves delivering both planned and reactive joinery work across a range of commercial properties, ensuring high‑quality repairs are completed on time.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general joinery repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
• Hang, repair and adjust doors, including fitting locks, handles and ironmongery.
• Repair skirting boards, architraves and flooring.
• Perform minor partitioning, fire‑door repairs and other building‑fabric work.
• Complete basic multi‑skilled tasks such as patch plastering, tiling, painting and general building repairs.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in commercial maintenance environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage workloads efficiently and meet agreed timescales.
• Own tools are preferred.
