Newly Qualified Accountant, Real Estate Finance

About the role

This is a newly qualified accountant position within a reputable real‑estate finance company in central London. The role offers full‑time, on‑site work supporting the finance team across multiple UK entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping for UK entities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, pre‑payments and reconciliations.
• Perform bank, balance‑sheet and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end close and management reporting processes.
• Liaise with external tax advisers to support tax compliance and reporting.
• Work closely with external audit partners, preparing schedules and responding to audit queries.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and year‑end financial information.
• Ensure finance records comply with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Contribute to process improvements and ad‑hoc finance tasks as required.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA or equivalent).
• 1‑3 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or multi‑entity environment.
• Real‑estate finance experience is a plus but not essential.
• Legal right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
